By installing and using the Aaroha mobile app ("Aaroha", "the app", "we", "us"), you agree to the terms below. Aaroha is free to use, ad-free, and provided as-is. If you don't agree to any of these terms, don't install or use the app.
1. Use of the service
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Aaroha. Onboarding validates this; do not falsify your age.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the profile data you enter (height, weight, age, training history). The app's recommendations depend on it.
- You may use Aaroha for personal fitness only. Reselling, sublicensing, reverse-engineering, or scraping the app or its underlying services is not permitted.
- You may have one personal account at a time. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We'll try to give notice for breaking changes via an in-app alert.
2. Acceptable use
- Don't use Aaroha while operating a vehicle or in any situation where distraction could cause injury.
- Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme — especially if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, or are pregnant. Aaroha is not a substitute for medical advice.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the service, abuse the AI features, or use the app to harm other users (e.g. via leaderboard manipulation).
- Don't upload meal photos or progress photos containing other people without their consent.
- Don't try to extract, copy, or redistribute the in-app workout plans, exercise videos, or content for commercial purposes.
3. Health disclaimer & liability
Aaroha uses on-device pose detection to give you exercise form feedback. The system is accurate but not infallible — false positives and missed alerts happen. Form feedback, plan recommendations, and nutrition estimates are guidance, not medical advice.
You exercise at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aaroha and its authors are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage (physical, financial, or otherwise) arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Injuries sustained while performing exercises shown or recommended by the app.
- Health outcomes from following nutrition guidance or meal estimates.
- Loss of data if your device is lost, broken, or factory-reset.
- Service interruptions due to issues with our cloud providers (Supabase, Vercel, Google Cloud, etc.).
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
4. Termination
You can stop using Aaroha at any time. To delete your account and all associated cloud data, open the app and go to Profile → Settings → "Delete my account". We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in India.
